Out of that idea grew Machete, a Jamaican fashion brand rooted in cultural preservation and a celebration of Caribbean and African heritage. Every piece starts and ends in the same place: Kingston, Jamaica, designed and constructed by hand.

Behind it is Angel-Lee Morgan (b. 1999, Jamaica), a multidisciplinary artist drawn to braided textures, working across hair and fabric to bring them to life. She grew up in Mandeville, shaped by her life as a Caribbean woman, and that influence runs through everything she makes. Her work reaches for something bigger than clothing - community.
